Join two connectable square beading pegboards.
Bead a skeleton in two sections. Use the illustration as a template and calculate the number of tube beads needed for each section of the skeleton design (or add beads free hand). Remember to leave holes in each section so you can join them afterwards.
Iron the skeleton parts carefully to fuse the beads.
Join the skeleton sections using string and a bead.
Attach string or cord to the back to turn the skeleton into a jumping jack: Cut one long length of cord and two shorter ones. Attach the two short lengths from shoulder to shoulder and hip joint to hip joint. Secure the long length of cord to the middle of the two short lengths and let it hang between the skeletons legs.
Tug the cord to bring your jumping jack skeleton to life!
Pegboard beading is endlessly entertaining, and there are countless creative options for using Hama tube beads! Here we made a lively jumping jack in the shape of a skeleton. The perfect creative craft activity and decoration for Halloween for any child. Hang the skeleton up on a door, wall or anywhere for that spooky Halloween look.
