Cut empty toilet rolls and kitchen towel rolls down to different levels, for the base of the castle.
Cut out square gaps around the edges of one of the cardboard rolls to make the crenels of a tower.
Bend roof tops from black paper for the other rolls that have not been cut into crenelled towers.
Paint all the rolls black and glue them to a castle building. Glue the roof tops too.
Cut a door and paint white windows using a fine-tipped brush.
Decorate your haunted castle with bats, witches, pumpkins and other spooky stuff.
Don't throw out your empty toilet paper rolls; reuse them for crafts instead! Try, for example, constructing a grand haunted castle with the kids for Halloween. The spooky haunted castle is as fun to build as it is to play with afterwards, for those who dare!
