Lay out a sheet of tissue paper.
Brush a little paint here and there on the tissue paper and let dry.
Brush a piece of metal wire with glue and place it on the tissue paper. Remember to leave a portion of the metal wire sticking out beyond the paper. Next, fold the tissue paper in half with the metal wire in between.
Cut a feather shape around the wire.
Cut fringe along both sides of the wire to resemble a feather.
Instead of decorating the Easter tree with real feathers, you can make your own beautiful paper feathers! Thin tissue paper is perfect for making ethereal Easter feathers. We've also painted the paper a little bit, to create a beautiful speckled effect. Make a few feathers and use them to decorate the Easter tree, or wrap the feathers around a lovely branch.
