Decorate a wreath with paper flowers

How to instructions

  • 1

Cut out petals for the flowers from origami paper. You will need five petals for each flower. Download the instructions and use the template.

  • 2

If you like, make stripes on the petals using a bone folder or ruler. This will add a little more texture to the petals.

  • 3

Cut out a strip from a lighter piece of paper. Cut narrow fringe into three-fourths of the width of the entire strip.

  • 4

Glue the strip of fringe around a berry. Then glue the petals overlapping around it.

  • 5

Cut out little twigs and leaves in shades of green.

  • 6

Arrange the flowers and leaves on the wreath however you like and glue them in place.

Make a beautiful Christmas wreath with paper! We used a rustic grapevine wreath as a base and glued on paper flowers as decoration. Both the flowers and leaves are cut out of origami paper. Try making paper flowers in different colours and patterns for beautiful variation.
