Setting the table with summer wreaths is a wonderfully decorative element. We made the wreaths in the picture out of paper, so they will last throughout the entire summer evening. To make the stems, cut pieces of aluminium wire and wrap them with florist tape. Then cut out flowers and leaves in different shapes. To make a big flower, cut out 12 petals (4 each in 3 different sizes). First, cut a strip of paper and cut notches into it, then wrap it around the tip of the stem. Glue the petals around the centre of the flower. Begin with the smaller pieces and add the biggest ones furthest out (see picture). Wrap the flowers onto the frame. We glued the leaves to the frame and to the back of the flowers. If you want to hang them up, add a ribbon so they have something to hang from.
