Pick an old vase you like the shape of, or model a shape out of chicken wire.
Mix the concrete clay according to the instructions on the packaging and then add the concrete fibre.*
Apply a layer of clay to your vase/model, and smooth it with your fingers. Set aside to dry.
Mix a new lot of concrete clay, but this time without adding concrete fibre.
Use wet fingers to re-moisten the dried vase/model and apply a second layer of clay. Before the clay has time to dry, you can now make patterns using various tools and household objects. Leave to dry.
Mix pigment powder with fixative and paint onto your vase until you achieve the depth of colour you want.
Using decor concrete, you can make your very own personalised pots, bowls and vases. This craft concrete is like a self-hardening clay, and doesn't need to be fired in a kiln. For maximum durability, you'll be mixing concrete fibre into the first layer of clay, and then making patterns in the second layer.
*Be sure to wear a protective face mask, protective gloves and protective goggles while mixing the concrete clay.
