Make a lovely beaded bracelet using Toho

How to instructions

  • 1

Cut a piece of beading thread, at least four times the length you want for the completed bracelet.

  • 2

String many beads on the thread (image 1).

  • 3

Guide the thread back once more through the last two beads (image 2). Continue to guide the thread through two beads at a time in the same way (image 3) until you’re happy with the length of the bracelet. Then fasten the thread by threading it back through the beads.

  • 4

Cut a new piece of thread and attach it at the far end.

  • 5

Thread on 3 beads and insert the bead needle into the adjacent bead (image 4).

  • 6

From the other side, string on 3 new beads and insert the bead needle into the adjacent bead (image 5).

  • 7

Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have strung beads all along the bracelet. Secure the thread.

  • 8

Attach end caps to the ends of the bracelet and squeeze them with flat jewellery pliers. Finally, attach the jump rings and lock with the pliers.

Make your own beaded jewellery using wonderful Toho beads! Toho from Japan are tiny, perfectly cylindrical glass beads. Here we used two different techniques where you get a nice lace-like edge around the whole bracelet. Perfect jewellery to give as a gift to someone you like!
