Gather up empty toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls and use them to make your mummies.
Glue a wadding ball to the top of each roll. Attach eyes to each ball.
Make holes in the rolls for the arms and poke in a pipe cleaner. Bend the ends of the pipe cleaner a little bit.
Cut strips of plaster gauze. Dip the strips in water for a few seconds, wetting them evenly. (Important: The water temperature should be no more than 35°C.)
Apply the strips in overlapping layers around the figures, until you are satisfied with the result. Let dry completely.
Craft an entire family of weirdly adorable mummies for Halloween with reused empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls. It's a fun and easy Halloween craft to make with the kids! You can also make little signs out of black hobby card and flower sticks for the mummies to hold in their Halloween parade: use a white Posca pen to write eerie Halloween messages on the little signs.
