Measure your child’s waist and cut a piece of elastic that will fit. Sew the ends of the elastic together into a circle.
Cut out 40 to 50 pieces of tulle, 140-150 x 40 cm.*
Fold a piece of tulle lengthwise. Slide the loop under the elastic and thread the ends through the loop. Pull on the ends so that the tulle is securely wrapped around the elastic. Keep tying tulle pieces around the entire elastic band, alternating white and grey pieces.
Lay the skirt on a flat surface and cut it to the desired length, so that the edges are nice and even.
To make a wolf costume (or another animal), sew on a faux fur tail. Place the pieces of fabric right side facing right side, and then turn the tail right side out. Hand-sew the tail to the elastic.
