Make a beaded pendant: Make a two-bead-wide frame around a pegboard. Iron the pegboard with ironing paper in between, place under a weight and let cool. Cut a piece of embroidery thread in a matching colour and sew stitches between the beads. Leave a long tail as a hanger.
Roll out a piece of clay and cut out clay figures using a clay tool. Make a hole for hanging it up. Let the figures dry completely before painting them with Hobbylack paint. Spatter with paint using a stiff brush.
Fold origami leaves and cranes with origami paper.
String on little wool balls, wooden beads and pompom balls. Decorate a wooden bead with embroidery yarn up and down through the bead. Then add another bead.
Cut out little veneer leaves and string them onto thread with a needle.
Arrange all of your pendants on a table to determine how you want to combine them before tying all of the threads securely to a dowel.
Hang the wall tapestry from a strong piece of string, such as hemp twine.
Make your own charming wall tapestry! Combining different materials and techniques looks beautiful. A beaded pendant, clay, paper crane, wool balls, veneer leaves and fuzzy pompom balls come together as unique details in gorgeous harmony.
