How to instructions

  • 1

First, cover a few sheets of watercolour paper with watercolour paints of your choice. Feel free to let different colours flow into one another. Let dry.

  • 2

Use one of the painted pieces of paper as a background.

  • 3

Cut and tear out pieces from the other painted papers, assemble a design, and then glue it to the background. Feel free to add small details with a thin brush and carefully spattered paint. When you are satisfied with the design, let the glue dry.

  • 4

The paper will bubble up when dry, so you can glue the completed piece to a surface or panel if you want it to be flat.

Let your creativity run free and make beautiful collages with watercolour paint! To make your painting, first prime several sheets of paper with watercolours in various shades. Now it’s time to experiment with cutting and pasting. Perhaps you have a plan for how your creation will look, or you can simply put together the cut-out pieces by feel and see how it turns out.
