Clean and dry a large plastic container that you can repurpose as a spider body.
Paint the entire container with black craft paint and let dry.
Place the container, opening facing down, on the black card and trace the edge. Cut out the circle.
Make eight long legs with pipe cleaners. Twist two pipe cleaners together if you want the legs to be thicker.
Glue the legs to the inside of the container edge with a hot glue gun. Then glue large pompom balls to the other end of the legs.
Glue the black card circle to the underside of the container with the legs sticking out.
Last, make the spider face by gluing on wiggly eyes and pipe cleaners.
The itsy, bitsy spider … Make a horrifically huge Halloween spider with the kids! Instead of getting rid of that big yoghurt container when it’s empty, use it for a fun Halloween craft! With some paint, glue, and crafting materials, you can quickly transform it into a spooky spider. Remember: the hot glue gun tip can get very hot, so be careful.
