1
Cut about 40 cm of nylon thread and thread the beading needle.
-
2
String 7 Miyuki Delica beads onto the thread. Then thread the needle back through the first 4 beads, so that you have a little crown at the end with 3 beads. Download the description below to see a pattern for threading the beads.
-
3
Add 7 more beads to the thread and pull the needle back through the first 4 of them. Now you have two small strings of beads.
-
4
String 16 beads onto the thread. Stick the needle into the fourth bead from the needle and thread it through 4 beads, so that you have a little crown at the end with 3 beads.
-
5
String 7 more beads onto the thread. Stick the needle into the fourth bead from the needle and thread it back through 9 beads. You now have two branches with two bead strings each.
-
6
Continue threading beads according to the pattern in the description until you have a pendant with 7 branches (14 bead strings). Make another identical pendant so that one earring has two corals.
-
7
Tie a double knot and thread the ends through a waxed glass bead.
-
8
String on 8 beads and run the thread through the waxed glass bead to make a bead loop. Then secure the thread by threading it back and forth through the beads in the pendant.
-
9
Attach a jump ring and an earring hook to the bead loop with flat-nosed pliers.
