Cut out 8 small flower petals from white felt.
Glue the petals around the top of a wooden bead (Ø 20 mm), overlapping them slightly. Make sure to cover the hole at the top. Pull the petals down towards the centre of the bead, but leave an opening between the petals on one side.
Once the glue is dry, draw a face in the opening between the white petals.
Paint a small wooden bead (Ø 8mm) green and a bigger wooden bead (Ø 15 mm) white. Dab a bit of green paint on the tip of every other petal.
Cut a piece of green yarn, fold it in half, and thread it through all of the beads. Start with the white one, then the head, and then the little green one last, creating a loop from which to hang your snowdrop. Use a dab of glue to secure the yarn to the beads.
Pretty little snowdrops peeking out are such a delightful sign of spring! If you want to make your own decorative signs of spring, then this is the craft for you. We were inspired by nature to make these charming snowdrops out of wooden beads, felt and paint. Incredibly easy, and simply beautiful!
