Cut a piece of wire to the desired length. This will be the stem of the flower.
Wrap floral tape around the entire piece of wire.
Chrysanthemum: Cut an approx. 3 cm x 30 cm strip of felt. Fold it lengthwise and cut notches along the entire strip, about 0.5 cm wide. Glue along the bottom of the entire strip and coil the felt into a flower. Then glue it to the stem
Hyacinth: Cut a strip of felt, as in the example above. Cut the felt into smaller pieces and glue them one at a time to the stem. Start with the one at the top.
Make pretty felt flowers to attach to your gifts! The stems of the flowers are made of wire wrapped in floral tape. To make a chrysanthemum, cut out a strip of felt, fold it in half and cut notches into it. Glue along the bottom of the entire strip of felt and coil it up to make a flower, which you attach to the stem. To make a hyacinth, begin the same way. Then cut the felt into smaller pieces and glue them one at a time to the stem. A hot glue gun is helpful to use when making felt flowers.
