Wrap a piece of white wool around a polystyrene egg.
Poke the felting needle up and down through the wool and egg repeatedly to evenly felt the wool in place.
Create a nice pattern on the egg using either small pieces of wool or yarn in various colours:
Roll up the wool into little logs to make stripes, or wrap yarn around the egg.
Roll the wool into little balls to make a dot-covered egg.
Felt the pattern into place using the same method as step 2, poking the needle through the wool and egg repeatedly.
Make your own beautiful, unique needle-felted Easter eggs! Needle felting is easy to do and it's so much fun. Use polystyrene eggs as a base for your Easter eggs and poke with the felting needle repeatedly, to shape and felt the wool around the egg. The more you stick in the needle, the more dense and even the wool will be. Then roll up little pieces of wool in different colours, or use yarn, and felt it in place to make a pattern.
