Make pretty spider web pour candles

How to instructions

  • 1

Melt the crystal medium in a water bath WITHOUT stirring the medium.

  • 2

Spray the mould with plenty of release spray and let it stand for a while so the excess runs off.

  • 3

Place a wick in the mould and then fill with the liquid medium. Leave to set.

  • 4

Clean the hole where the wick is when the candle has set, using the wick needle.

  • 5

Tap the mould gently against a flat surface to release the candle for removal from the mould.

These hexagonal candles are just so pretty! The six sides produce a delicate "spider's web" as the candle burns. Making pour candles is fun and easy and this kit includes the crystal medium, wicks and a mould. The instructions are printed on the packaging; be sure to follow them carefully. Take care not to stir the medium when it melts, as this may affect the quality of the resulting candle!
