Look for a sock or a pair of tights to use as a mould.
Mix the concrete according to the instructions on the package.
Pour the concrete mixture into the sock and secure the fabric with a rubber band above the wet mixture. Cut off the excess fabric beyond the rubber band.
Place four identical rubber bands around the filled sock. Criss-cross the rubber bands to create the shape of a pumpkin.
Place a candle case in the middle of the rubber band knot, under the four rubber bands you just applied. Let the concrete harden.
When the concrete has hardened, remove the rubber bands and sock, and glue the candle case to the hole where it sat as the concrete was setting.
Make fabulous pumpkin candlestick holders that last year after year! Use a stray sock or an old pair of tights as a casting mould, which will allow you to easily shape the wet concrete into a pumpkin using rubber bands. Then insert blood red candles for a spooky Halloween vibe, or classic white candles to create an elegant look that brightens up those dark autumnal evenings.
