Combine the soap flakes with warm water and a few drops of cooking oil, following the instructions on the package. Knead the mixture together.
Divide the mixture into different bowls to make soaps in different colours. Wear gloves while dyeing the soaps and working with the soap pigment.
First, add a drop of soap pigment to one of the mixtures. Add additional drops for a stronger colour. Repeat with the mixtures in the other bowls, if you want additional colours.
Cut a piece of twine and tie the ends together.
Mould the dyed soap around the twine, or flatten the soap and cut out shapes.
Let the soaps set for 3 to 4 days.
