Making your own paper feathers is a fun and meditative activity. For a luxury variant, use metalised paper, like we did for our feathers, as pictured. METHOD: Cut a feather-length piece of paper and fold it in half. Glue one half with a glue stick, then place a piece of metal wire down the centre of the glued section. Now fold over the other half and crease. Trim the edges into the shape of a feather, and then cut dense fringe into either side of the metal wire to form narrow strips. A great alternative to ordinary feathers!
