Carry the musical theme all the way from invitation to party! We have assembled a confirmation kit for music lovers, with matching menus, invitations, place cards, serviette rings and song boxes. We designed the invitation to look like a vinyl record using a circle cutter. The cover is made of a design sheet which we cut to 15 x 30 cm and then folded in half. The menu is an A4 sheet of paper folded width-wise and decorated with a slightly smaller black sheet. For a stylish effect, we suggest writing out the menu on transparent paper and attaching a cut-out underneath that shows through. All that's left now is throwing together some solid hits for the confirmand! Make the guitar by folding a piece of paper in half and cutting out half a guitar to create a nice shape. Cut out the hole using a circle cutter. Make one long and about ten cm-wide strips along the long side of the large black hobby card sheet and fold the long sides about one cm. Then cut the folded piece at one cm intervals to make a shredded edge. Glue the strip to the top and bottom of the guitar to create a wavy wall around the guitar. Once you have cut and folded the strip, it will fit around easily. Leave an opening so that you can fill the guitar with song lyrics. The neck of the guitar is a long strip measuring 14 x 50 cm. Fold the long side at 1 cm, 2 cm, 7 cm, 12 cm and 13 cm, fold together into a long rectangular tube and glue together. Then glue it to your guitar, cut out a template for the head and secure. Now simply draw the strings and your guitar is done!
