Pour some water into a glass or jar.
Mix in watercolour paint. Scrape paint into the water for more pigment.
Add a few drops of washing-up liquid and stir.
Blow bubbles in the water through a straw; they should come up over the edge.
Place a sheet of watercolour paper on top of the bubbles, causing them to pop on the paper, forming a pretty bubble pattern. Let dry.
Cut out a picture of the childs face and glue it onto the paper, so that the bubbles form the childs hair.
Let the kids try an exciting new way to paint with watercolours! With ordinary cakes of watercolour paint, you can create awesome effects and brilliant works of art. Try out different colours and see what kinds of beautiful bubble paintings you can make. Once the paintings are dry, you can add a fun twist by gluing pictures of your family members' faces around the bubbles. It will kind of look like everyone has colourful shampoo bubbles in their hair!
