Split up the yarn ends to make the hair bushy and tie it in any hairstyle you like.
Last, cut off any excess cloth from the back of the embroidery hoop.
Embroider funny little portraits with fabulous three-dimensional hair. Begin from your own sketch or embroider freehand. To make the outlines, use a back stitch, i.e. even stitches in which you poke the needle down in the same place where you poked it up for the previous stitch. We embroidered the dress with long, close stitches in a lovely shade of turquoise. Don't forget to make the hair nice and fluffy, so that the figure looks really silly. After that, simply hang the picture on the wall - and make another one! Maybe you want to try an embroidered lion with a big mane, or something else fun.
