Potato-block printed Christmas cards

Cut a potato in half.

Dip one potato half in paint and press onto the card. Let dry.

Sending Christmas cards to loved ones is a wonderful winter pastime! In this example, we've potato-block printed adorable snowmen. The kids can help with this easy Christmas craft. Start by cutting a small potato in half. Pour white paint onto a paper plate or a tear-off palette and dip the potato in the paint. Print as many snowmen as you like and let dry completely. Use a brush to paint a carrot, hat and arms. Use the end of the brush to dot on eyes and a mouth. Finish by writing a nice Christmas message.
