Transform your old furniture into something new! It might be a chair from a flea market with huge potential, or a shelf at home that needs a touch-up. Upcycling has made it exponentially more fun to freshen up your old furniture instead of buying something new. To upcycle this chair, we used Vintage Paint in Folk Green and Lilac. You will also need filler, brushes, a sanding sponge and paint surface cleaner. Prepare the stool before you paint it by washing it with paint surface cleaner. Sand and scrape off old paint to help the new paint adhere. If it has holes, use the filler. Choose your Panduro Vintage Paint colour, stir it, and apply thin coats of paint. It is important to let the chair dry for 1-2 hours in between each coat of paint. Better to apply lots of thin coats than one coat that is too thick! Feeling happy with the result? Let the chair dry for 2 days before using it. Ta-da! Your chair is like new. Talk about upcycling!
