Oil pastel crayons iridescent, produced by SENNELIER in France. Creamy pastels of the highest artist's quality. Oil pastels can be diluted with turpentine in order to work with them using a brush. Apply directly from the pastel or spread the colours with a finger, sponge or brush. You can also apply in layers for scraping techniques, or in thick layers for impasto effects. They work on many different surfaces, including both white and coloured paper, card, canvas etc. You can also apply them over acrylic, oil or watercolour paints for mixed media techniques.
