DIY kit Make your own Christmas candy, gather family and friends at Christmas-time to make mouth-watering traditional boiled sweets – an amazing idea, right? When you´re done, you can all sample the 3 kg weight of sweet treats, or bag the candy in little gift-size portions ready for festive-season celebrations.
For Christmas flavouring: 100 g citric acid and 5x10 ml flavourings: Chocolate, toffee, apple and peppermint.
For the colourings: 50 g titanium dioxide (covering white colouring powder) and 5x10 ml food colourings: leaf green, yellow carrot, brown, orange and Xmas red.
Candy-making also requires: 700 g dextrose made from maize, potato or wheat.
For making the candy: 2 dough scrapers, 1 thin teflon sheet measuring 41x48 cm, 5 plastic pipettes, 50 lollipop sticks and detailed instructions (SE, NO, DK, UK, DE, NL).
10 food-grade approved cellophane bags and 3 metres of red gift cord.
Items NOT included but required: 2.5 kg granulated sugar and neutral cooking oil. You will also need ordinary kitchen utensils and a thermometer.
