Soft Kambgarn, made of 100% merino wool. Doesn´t that sound wonderful? Kambgarn is spun in Spain out of merino wool from South Africa. Stringent requirements are in place to ensure the manufacturing is 100% mulesing-free – which is strongly recommended by Svenska Fåravelsförbundet (Swedish sheep breeders´ association) and Djurens Rätt (Swedish animal rights and welfare organisation). This worsted yarn is spun from long parallel wool fibres. Short wool and broken fibres are removed before spinning, making the yarn especially durable. After production, the yarn is dyed in Iceland – and there are tons of wonderful colours from which to choose. Merino wool is an exclusive material and you will quickly understand why – it is soft, warm, sustainable and easy to care for. Perfect for garments worn close to the skin, especially for kids. Yarn facts: One ball contains about 195 metres. Gauge: 23–24 st x 32 rnds = 10x10 cm – but may vary depending on the knitter. Needles 2½–4 mm. Hand wash 30°C.
