First, knead a piece of black Fimo clay. Shape the lump of clay into a cat’s head. Make little eyes, a nose and stripes, and press them on. Cut small pieces of metal wire and insert them to make whiskers.
Shape the cat’s body, front paws and back paws. Press the head onto the body and cut out pieces of aluminium wire for the arms and legs. Poke the wires into the body and then attach the front and back paws.
Roll thin logs of white clay. Flatten them and then wrap them like bandages around the cat’s head and body.
Make a pumpkin out of orange clay and attach a piece of metal wire as a handle. Shape little sweets and lollipops to place in and around the pumpkin. Make a big, colourful lollipop for the cat to hold in its paw.
Harden all components in the oven at 110°C for 10 to 30 minutes. Let cool.
Use a waterproof marker to draw eyes and a mouth on the pumpkin.
Make the world’s cutest mummified cat for Halloween! With Fimo Soft, you can make incredibly detailed figures and characters. The clay retains its shape while it cures, meaning that details don’t ‘melt’ into each other. Tip! Always begin by kneading the clay, which will make it easier to shape later.
