Make a miniature circus

How to instructions

  • 1

Clean the empty tin cans and dry them thoroughly.

  • 2

Paint the tin cans in beautiful colours, adding stripes and patterns. Let the paint dry.

  • 3

Make a roof for the circus tent with a cone-shaped piece of paper. Cut out a paper door and glue it to the tin can, framed with a piece of glittery pipe cleaner.

  • 4

Brush glue here and there and sprinkle with glitter before the glue dries.

  • 5

Choose a cheerful colour and paint a toilet paper roll. Let dry.

  • 6

Glue a craft ball to the top of the toilet paper roll to make the clowns head.

  • 7

Decorate the clown with pipe cleaners, sequins and pompoms.

It's time to get crafty and creative with rubbish! It's incredible how much fun you can have by getting creative with empty toilet paper rolls, tin cans, milk cartons and a dash of imagination. Build an entire circus with the kids using items you already have at home, a bit of paint, and craft supplies. The clown can juggle colourful pompoms glued to an iridescent pipe cleaner.
