Make cute clay flowers

How to instructions

  • 1

Knead the clay until it is soft.

  • 2

Roll out the clay to flatten it to about 1 to 2 mm thin.

  • 3

Carve or cut out flower petals. Press the petals together, overlapping, to make a flower.

  • 4

Roll a ball and press it to the centre of the flower.

  • 5

Bend and shape the flower until you are happy with the shape. Carve little lines in the petals and poke little hollows in the middle, if you like.

  • 6

Make a small hole for hanging and place the flower on a sheet of baking paper on a sheet pan.

  • 7

Harden the clay in the oven at 110°C for 30 minutes.

  • 8

Let the flowers cool and then poke a thin piece of sewing thread through the hole to make a hanger.

Welcome spring with delightful pastel-coloured flowers! Fabulous Fimo clay comes in loads of beautiful colours and retains the shape you have made after being hardened in the oven. Hang up your pretty pastel flowers as Easter decorations, or whenever you want to add a bit of spring beauty to your home.
