Scrunchies aren't just awesome hair accessories; they're also easy to make yourself. Best of all: you will have a use for all your scrap fabric. Scrunchies are perfect to keep with you in your school bag, gym bag, or whenever you might need to fix your hair. To make the scrunchie shown in the picture, you will need: elastic strap, tailor scissors, sewing thread and fabric scraps. We used our fabrics: Monke Orange, Chelsea Yellow, Flowers Grey and Leaves Grey. Method: Cut out a piece of fabric (large: 12 x 45 cm, small: 6 x 45 cm). Then fold the fabric right side facing right side lengthwise and sew together along one long side; turn right side out. Cut a piece of elastic strap to about 24 cm and thread it through the fabric. TIP! Attach a safety pin to one end to make it easier to pull the elastic through the fabric. Sew the fabric together into a closed ring. To make adorable bunny ears, we tied on an oval strip (25 x 7 cm). Doesn't it look great?!
