Download and print the pegboard patterns.
Connect transparent pegboards to make one large pegboard.
Place the printed pattern underneath the pegboard.
Arrange beads on the pegboard according to the pattern.
Lay a piece of ironing paper on top of the beads and iron the design together.
Turn it over and remove the pegboards while the beads are still warm, so that you can bend selected details in order to hang up your figures. Bend the bat’s feet, the upper portion of the spider’s web, and the ghost’s hands. Press in the ghost’s hands before the beads cool.
Hang up the figures from a branch, or from string set up between two points.
Assembling pegboards is always fun, and for Halloween we’ve taken the opportunity to make a group of sweetly terrifying characters! Hama beads are the perfect Halloween craft activity for the kids. Then you can hang up your creations to create a spooky-but-cosy Halloween feel.
