Re-dye your old shirts to make something new and unique! Use a tie-dye technique to create stylish, trendy patterns. These garments were a little more complicated: we used three colours, which requires three dye rounds. It's a spectacular way to achieve really cool colour effects! It isn't harder, but it takes more time. The garment should be clean and damp when you begin. Tie with cotton string and place in the washing machine with the fabric dye. Begin with the lightest shade. Run an entire washing machine programme at 40°C and you're done. Remove the garment and leave the knots in place. Then repeat the same process with the old + new knots and a new colour. Begin with the lightest colour and end with the darkest.
