Spatter painting is fun and definitely something everyone can do! Just remember to protect your work table and the surroundings; stains are hard to remove. Start by cleaning the surface to be spattered; do not touch the surface with your fingers afterwards. If you want a spatter pattern on the entire surface, you can create a border with masking tape. SPATTER PATTERN: It's easiest to use a toothbrush with fairly firm bristles. Dip the dry brush in porcelain paint and shake off the excess. Direct the brush toward the object you are painting and run your finger over the bristles to create a spatter pattern. Remember that the paint spatters should not be too thick. Try it on a piece of paper first to get a hang of the technique. If you aren't satisfied, simply wash off the paint and start over. Let dry for at least 24 hours. Then harden in the oven at 150°C for 30 minutes to make the paint permanent.
