Paint an old picture frame and let dry completely.
Cut out a piece of tulle that is big enough to fit the frame.
Place the pattern of your choice under the tulle and trace the design with a marker.
Stretch the tulle in an embroidery hoop and embroider the design with any stitch you like. Secure the yarn to the back.
Staple the embroidered tulle to the back of the frame.
Make your own work of art by reusing and rejuvenating an old picture frame with paint and embroidery. We've embroidered our dragonfly with back stitches and flat stitches. For the icing on the cake, we also glued dried flowers and plants to one corner of the picture. We recommend using a hot glue gun, which makes gluing quick and easy. Then simply step back and behold your work!
