Albrecht Dürer Magnus watercolour pencil set, 5.3 mm tip. These pencils facilitate a multitude of expressive forms for artists when composing, shading and painting with watercolours. High-quality materials combined with Faber-Castell's experience have resulted in pencils that offer unparalleled watercolour effects. In just a few strokes with a wet pencil, you can turn your drawing - fully or partially - into a painting with all the advantages of both techniques. Depending on what paper you use, the pigment can be completely dissolved, at which point it behaves like classic watercolours. The colour becomes permanent when dry, which allows for the application of another layer of colour on top, without the first layer being dissolved again. "Magnus" is the larger option in the Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencil series, which is also available with a 3.8 mm tip.
