Yarn Maldivas, from Katia, is a Spanish-made yarn that is wonderful when you have an idea of which colour you want to use – but can´t quite decide! These big, generous balls of yarn come in a whirlwind of colours in their respective themes. This yarn is a little thin, but incredibly long – fully 435 metres. 2 balls are enough to make a shawl or a beautifully textured baby blanket. Yarn facts: Made of 60% cotton, 40% acrylic. One ball contains about 435 metres. Gauge 22 st x 30 rnds = 10x10 cm. Needles: 3–3.5. Machine washable at 30°C, gentle cycle. Mint.
